Coronation MFS & MM financial skills program. I ran this training in the rural area of Bothas Hill and I was very happy that the majority of the group was the youth and we had few older people who I thought will make the session more interesting and fruitful. The youth were overwhelmed by the knowledge on personal finance/ financial health we shared and they were more interested on the good saving methods that are out there to make then prosperous sooner in their life journey. The interaction was amazing as the older participants shared their sad earliest memories with money which mostly occurred because of lack of Financial literacy. The highlight of the day was when I did a practical example of a long term goal set for a child's tertiary education where the plan started from when the child was in Grade 8, the calculation of the estimate of how much should be saved just to cater for the registration fees at varsity/ collage. They were all shocked by the little amount that their parents should have saved monthy to get them to tertiary and some were emotional as their parents told them that they cannot afford to take them to varsity back then when you only needed the registration fees. This really showed how financial education is important in one's life, a life skill indeed! At the end of the session I was excited that the session had a positive impact on all age groups especially because such opportunities are rare in the rural areas, some of them even sent me messages to express their gratitude!

MetroKickstarz financial educational and entrepreneurship program, I fruitfully engaged with the Wem combined school principal. In the school I have successfully trained more than 70 learners, some testify that they were well informed in the session and looking forward to apply the skills they have learned. Another girl speak out that she is good in mathematics and she will surely start her torturing business like sinhle to help others learners in need with a amonth of R50 per session. Some say it was a new skills receive and appreciated it was a matter of time to think Brody what business they will start while in school or beyond the classroom. Another young boy said " He have a business of loan shark for a while and is working very well" what motivate this young man to be in the field it's a legacy business that normally runs by his father and He adopted the idea. When I feather ask this young man what are challenges in his business, He said not yet everything has been going well clients respect and pay in time.

For this project I was intentional of who I wanted to train simply because this came around the time of Youth Month therefore I was able to maximise on my recruitment using links that I had created previously. I found that one of the most impactful MM's is the Young People and Money Modular, even with the groups that i was not doing this particular Modular with I had to spare atleast 30 minutes to touch on it. It is surprising that in 2022 we have young people that are not aware of how NSFAS works, they are accepted in Higher Learning Institutions but never make it there because they are of the view that they do not have Registration Fees that is paid upfront. This enlightened them in that aspect that they only need to worry about transporting themselves to their preferred institutions. In some cases I feel that even the Teachers are failing them by not providing them with information as well as exposing them to the Road Shows that are hosted by both Tertiary Institutions and Municipalities.

Coronation Modular Programme went extremely well until last day at Jankempdorp Northern Cape... It's an area full of farms surrounding it. Attendants learnt so much and they really appreciate what Avocado Vision and Coronation brought them. I'd like to thank Avocado Vision and Coronation for giving me the platform to impact people's lives in a positive way.

MFosho and MM was held in Villiersdorp community, it was quite difficult to train because of the season of the farms, during the day there is few people in the community, you will find out, they came with their kids at training vanue and leave before we finish the training, they don't keep time, as far as I know, they are learning new things that will change their lives, my challenge is more on signal, as I always report late i have to wait for all my sessions to be finished before I send, and I have to travel 180 km to do my reports. MM was much better, because the school was closed and the learners are in the community and they were supportive on recruiting, communicating very well at the training, they can't wait to get older, starting their business, and to start working, one of the parents, came and want me to tell more on what I was teaching them because it is interesting and she wants to be part of the training once I'm doing it again. Thank you Avocado and the team for always bringing new information to our communities.
