From the 20 to the 21 of September we were training the Community of Wittekleibosch on Give Yourself A Job lesson 2 and 3. Very appreciative group of people who really want to change their lives for the better and they report that the training is contributing to that effect.

On the 19 - 20 September we were training the Community of Kareedouw on lesson 2 and 3 of Give Yourself A Job and participants were enthusiastic and reported how the trainings are already having impact on their lives. Some have previously failed in their own businesses and felt the training is equipping them to perform better in future.

Working with coronation on this trench two in Free State has been quiet an experimental in a sense that I'v e been thinking what it would be like to back to the community that I have trained before and refresh them to establish how fa far are they with getting their finances in order. Some of them had challenges that they needed help with and the training helped them because they knew where to go for help. Recruiting them back into training was not a challenge but getting them to come everyday until the fifth day was not easy. There those who came consecutively and those who came on intervals because of commitments they had somewhere else. The learners appreciated training, and feedback that I got from them gave me assurance that all the work that was put in from organising the venues, the catering and training itself did not go in vain, although some of them stated that its the first time they see the certificate of that size.Thank you Coronation.

Started with lesson one of Give Yourself A Job training with the community of Kareedouw. People have received the training very well and to informative and contribute to their current situation. The people appreciate and are very grateful to the Trust and the Cennergi for the training opportunity, one lady Lavona Langford even shared how these trainings have helped her help her son with his start-up furniture making business.

Since the month of June, one has been hectic with training various members of the community throughout the length and breadth of the Gauteng province in various programmes: Coronation In Depth Financial management, Mzansi Fo' Sho!, Ikhaya Fo' Sho!. I have expirienced some ups and downs in the process. The ups being seeing the state of wonderment in the eyes of Delegates when sharing the key pillars of Financial Management : Financial Goals,Budgeting, Credit Management, Banking, Scams & Fraud, saving & Investment, Asset Management among others. with the follow - up programme In - Depth Coronation Financial Management programme it was reassuring to observe that ones' effort had not gone into waste in sharing with the Delegates then in the previous initial Basic Financial Management programme. There was positive feedback as to how the programme had influenced their lives in a positive way with them being in a more improved status regarding their Finances. The down side has been on several occasions Delegates not pitching up for the workshop after preparing catering and all the other logistics and one being forced to postpone the workshop. I hope that is the life of a Facilitator, counting your losses and moving on. What inspires me besides these challenges is the Change one is bringing to Communities including contributing to the Development of our young growing Democracy.
