ABSA programme It was great to work with learners as there was no issue of recruitment. The exam was on so the staff had to workout a timetable that will accommodate the training. On the day where all Mbhudula learners were either writing or revising, the principal organised with a nearby high school Samora Machel to train their learners as well. Teachers also attended the training and they find it informative. I think there should be a training which designed for learners which cover the basics of finance. According to money fo sho the training is for 4 hours but the same training is 2 hours for ABSA. That was challenging to compress the training but it worked as I had many groups so it was a learning curve. Working with young ones is sometimes problematic as they want to be disciplined at all times. The principal addressed them and the situation was better. The registers were challenging because half of the class will share the same surname and names. It was a struggle to match the evaluation and the registers. Due to timeframe and learners juggling between the training and their exams I was forced to collect the evaluation later. That caused so many problems because they were sharing information and I spent the whole week after the training trying to sort evaluation forms according to registers. This training drained my energy and my pocket but it was worth it. Those learners needed that information more that I need money and my energy. I still forget to take pictures at times because my focus is on training. Teachers helped by taking pictures and send them to me. I learnt from that experience however it is better to conduct training in your province to minimise costs.

Coronation module 1 to 9 This was the first to train 1 group on all coronation trainings. In May I trained a group of traditional healers and other few people who were not traditional healers. I discovered it works well when 1 group attends all. From Money fo sho experiences they were more active during modular sessions as it serves as basic. Some challenges were tax calculations need each participant to have a handout so that they can relate easily and have something to refer later. Tax season is around the corner so the session was prolonged by many questions based on their current situations. The insurance session was also popular and there many stories of insurance reps who made some take insurances without their consent or make them sign papers with no explanation. It was a wake up call for all to always make sure they ask for a document to take home. The issue of retirement was taken serious as some were already approaching pension age but they didn't know they could take retirement policy even though they were not employed but rather self employed. One lady shared a story of her son who was trained by her about money fo sho as I always encourage my participants to be the ambassadors of financial literacy. She shared some ways of boosting income which is mobile car wash and the business is booming. The son is in grade 11 but he is financially independent and has a saving account for his university fees. This story is humbling and it shows when people are informed they take wise decisions. Module 6 to 9 works better if it is offered together with module 1 to 5. This training was a success.

Today my learners were very interested in sharing their scores and finding out what their scores mean, some of them couldnt get their credit profiles so we worked with a few examples of the ones who could get theirs.

My group was a small group of 17 learners, but the impact was huge, when people talk about them not regretting coming to the workshop.it makes me believe that their expectations have been met.

Delmas Community has welcomed the opportunity with warm hands and the class teachers are so much involved. They have asked that ABSA training could also assist the school with donations. I personally have committed to donate some of my profits towards the school as soon as I complete training all Grades and classes
