Sanlam Project- Money Fo Sho financial literacy training was held at Philippi in Siyangena informal settlement on 15 Sept 2020. The committee organised participants and the venue. The training started on time and successfully. Community of Siyangena appreciated the training, they said because they live in informal settlement they hardly get such programmes most of these programs they go to people who have all the services. They asked get more programmes. They learn on how to draft a budget, making saving goals, prioritising needs from wants, insurances, keeping their money safe, types of bank accounts and difference between cash and credit. I am looking forward to bring more programme for that community as they shown an interest on learning about Financial Literacy.

I had a great time at Kgokgojane Village in the North West where I was empowering communities with Covid-19 Safety Awareness Programme and Coronation Modular Programmes. I am so glad that our people were so happy and excited about the Programme.

I would like to share my report of the Sanlam money fosho project which I was busy with at ext 10. First of all the area I trained in it is an informal settlement area and so many people are unemployed, others are owning small businesses. It was a great experience to train the young and old about unforseen events, how to manage Debts, and Banking aswell as how to manage ones personal finance. They community accepted the training and they even asked for indepth modulers. Every day I had massive numbers and many to they don't have phones. And the area has no electricity. They do have water and sewage. Attending the 6 hour training and getting certificate from Sanlam it was so grratfull and many promise to change the behaviour. And to start afresh. The area has so many mashonisa illegal leaders

Cororaton money fo sho modular was done over 9 modules and many people appreciated the new information as it enables them then to take informed decisions regarding their finances. The risk module and credit did speak to their challenges theg were experiencing, boosting my Income reinvigorated their spirit of vukuzenzele and ageing in grace actually brought the possibility of saving for retirement without having a formal job, So the training really empowered my participants to behave better in future financial dealings

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to Avo and Coronation for the great opportunity of making the training possible as much as we are faced by the pandemic covid 19. The Covid 19 safety training which we trained in each and every one participant and it was so informative and The Learners were so thank full off the 12 Modules which they had to attend and it was so free and they made shore that they book the dates and our classes were full load everyday I had 32 people and the were days I had to turn back other walk in as wee were using the booking system. All modules were so informative and useful to the learners as many were unemployed and after module 10 we had people who had started the small businesses which was so fantastic. Group dynamics we had older and young people and others they were once employed and other never employed before. Which makes the learning interesting everyday

Online Streetwise Finance was not easy for my participants because it was something new, the challenge was the name Online, was such a big name, even if you explained to them it's data free, but at the end they manage to do the training.

Money module financial literacy, was held at Moreson Trust farm, I trained two groups, Xhosa speaking and Afrikaans speaking. The challenge was, the training should be done in two weeks time, I had to push and do 2 sessions per day, Farm workers need a lot of information because most was new to them, lot's of hidden information, I so wish Avocado can approach the farms in the Western Cape, most of the people are living in the farms after they retire, they've been through out with 0cents,no provident funds, only the UIF, it is very sad to find out there are still lots of farmers in the Western Cape doing the same thing. They really enjoyed doing this training, and they ask me to bring more information, Covid-19 was not a big challenge to them, because in the beginning of Covid-19 I shared all the Avocado vision pictures, that we shared on the group, so that they can print out and teach their workers, this training brings financial freedom to them. Thank you Avocado vision and the team
