On the 5th May 2025, i facilitated Clientele`s Enriched Money FoSho in Protea South (Soweto). The participants were great, they were very engaging and were not scared to share their real life experiences during the session. The openness of the older participants helped create a safe learning environment where older participants shared their money management mistakes with the younger participants. As a facilitator, it is always a humbling experience seeing the impact that we make in our communities. Many of the participants were appreciative of the learnings and said they will start implementing the as soon as yesterday
I had the privilege to train e very interactive group were different stories were shared, but one outstanding was from Mr Daki Sibisi who shared his credit score of which was below 550. When we were discussing the credit score handout that's when he discovered that his score is below the 620 points and he then planned his repayments method and said he's going to make repayments plans with his creditors as he's still young and this might jeopardize his future endeavor. He thank avo for the training and even advised his colleagues to check their profiles and understanding the report details.
Avo vision held a session of money and beliefs and The community had a lot to say about status symbols and how things such as after tears and white weddings, extravagant funerals have become things that people tend to spend alot on without understanding the significance or just trying to fit in with the trend, the session was also very interactive because participants were of different age groups, there were opposing views, as well as sharing of knowledge from historical viewpoints from the elders and today's trends that set a new culture for the millenials
Avo vision availed themselves to the call of SAPS and Department of Social Development on presenting a session for the last group of gender based violence survivors and this time the session also included substance abuse recovering addicts who were extremely pleased with the information they were learning about tax and how it affects them, the topic that really hit close to home was about black tax and they found the learning content insightful
As we continue to empower our communities with financial skills and financial knowledge. We had an opportunity to train the community of Bafokeng at Lefaragatlhe, Phokeng village just on the outskirts of the Platinum City of Rustenburg, in the North West Province of RSA. We were tackling and talking about Boosting my Income, which is module 5 of our Money Modular. As a Facilitator I was excited and challenged at the same time by the level of participation particularly from the young people. The tools we used helped participants to understand the content better. During the engagements I noticed one vibrant and jolly young man Thabo is his name, a 25 year old just finished his N6 at Rustenburg Orbit College. And this is what he said about boosting my income "Firstly, it provides financial stability by enabling you to cover your living expenses and save for the future. Secondly, an extra income opens up opportunities for a better quality of life, allowing you to afford things that bring you joy and fulfillment. Moreover, boosting your income provides a sense of security in case of unexpected expenses or emergencies". As a Facilitator I was amazed and proud at the same time that this young man wrapped up the session with these great nuggets and he concluded by saying " Additionally, an extra income can help you achieve your long-term goals, such as buying a home, starting a family, or traveling. By actively working towards increasing your income, you can create a more secure and fulfilling future for yourself and your loved ones". And all I could say at that time was "Amen"
Once again Avocado Vision and Coronation entrusted me to go back the community of Qwaqwa and impact their lives negatively and take actions that will will change their future. I was encouraged that most of them have taken steps in opening their own businesses without funding or any other help .One guy in particular said its not easy to start a business as it takes effort ,planning ,sacrifices and dedication. He also mentioned that its a challenging journey and he is also enjoying the rewards of his hard work. I also went further and trained the young ones at the schools as I believe that they also need to get this education at this early age, it is a good time to get them thinking about the value of money and to develop good money habits. They responded very well to the topic of needs and wants and prioritizing while there were other kids whom I could tell that they have already started to pick up some of the bad habits that they see around their society which was a mindset that have to be changed with lots of motivation. These trainings really make an impact to my community.
I had an opportunity to train the community of Tembisa in Ekurhuleni Municipality. The training session held for the community was impactful and an eye-opening experience for all participants. As a facilitator, I was both excited and humbled by the opportunity to lead this workshop, as it allowed me to connect with individuals from the community. They were excited about the workshop as it helped them gain the tools they need to improve their financial wellbeing. Participants were engaging and one of the most rewarding aspects of this training was the active participation from the community members as they were eager to learn and ask questions, share personal experiences, and contribute to discussions. This open engagement helped create a safe and collaborative learning environment where participants felt comfortable learning from one another. The topics discussed were relevant to real life issues, such as budgeting, debt management, credit scores, and saving for emergencies, which resonated deeply with attendees. Many shared that it is not easy to discuss money matters but this session made it easy for them and they felt empowered by the practical advice offered. Several individuals mentioned that they could immediately apply what they learned to improve their financial situation.
Avo vision came through again for the community in conjunction with SAPS and Department of Social Development on the 9th of May 2025, the session was interactive and participants found the content insightful and mind opening

Laurium Capital take place at Villiersdorp community, it was such an awesome opportunity for our community to have such trainings again and again due to the situation we are living under, especially this year people were not working, most of the Farms took the cheap labors to do the jobs, which leave our people with no jobs, and that is creating a lot of crime, hatred in the communities, if we can also focus on jobs opportunities that can also be a helpful training for our communities, because when they start business is hard to get profit from the people because they are not working, by the way they really enjoyed the training, the also thank Avocado for always thinking of them by always bringing the new ideas of saving and learning to control themselves.
