Money Fo Sho - Clientell project I conducted a training in De Doorns and in Atlantis these are rural areas in the Western Cape. Most people from thes areas are coming from the Eastern Cape and from Lesotho but they came to these areas looking for jobs. Most of them are working in farms. They have little background of education, most services are not there, they are not exposed in most things. The training was successfull as well as the participation. Most relevant questions were asked. The most highlighted topic was setting goals as well as needs and wants. They learnt a lot in terms of drafting a budget and how to cut their costs. Leadership appreciated the program and they said they need more of such trainings. I would love to conduct more trainings in these areas.

uMzinyathi KZn,training went well for a few days until community leaders made it political.people were told not to come to the training, those who came were threatened,we had to do our last session and move to other places.people actually followed us,their own transport which showed so much interest in the training.its sad that leaders do such things to spite their opponents, forgetting about the community.

It's been a while since I trained in rural areas,it was so great and refreshing to see young people coming out in numbers to get skills, asking relevant questions and even referring others to the training.Having fun whilst learning is always a winning combo,at the end of training, people want more. Our venue was spacious, well ventilated (although it was cold) and it was sprayed everyday when we arrived each morning.

Clientele Project. RCC Church in Orange Farm was the venue for three of the workshop, the Pastor of the church helped me to organize his congregation and community the attendance was very good. Budgeting module became more interesting because they realize the mistake they've being doing by not budgeting together as family. Also they realize how is important save money for their loved ones and writing a will is also important. One of the attendees Thabiso requested that we must not forget his community we must come back again and he will help us to call more people to attend because this workshop, because they are very important to his community they don't how to save money and they spend lot their money on the wants. It was very touching workshop in that area because most people attended they earn government grant and they said they really appreciate that we came to their area to educate them about financial management.

On the 03/05/2021 - 12/05/2021 I conducted a training at Nchodu village with the EPWP programme participants who have been temporarily employed for the first time , in all their lives they've lived depending on livestock as source of income , they've never been trained on finances but this training has added value on how to manage their personal finances . They've been spending without tracking , no budgeting and have never recognized farming as a business for them ,after the training they've identified business opportunities in their area . It's been a pleasure to me to have a priviledge to train them , I've met some of them in town , sharing with me the difference made by this training to them , I've also attended one of their livestock auctions it was fulfilling to see them engaging in negotiating the fair price with the buyers, taking control of their finances .

Sanlam Project MM: I organised a training in a community called Ethembeni with the assistance of community members. The training took a week and they were very excited and enthusiastic by the training. We got a venue in one of church building within the comminity. The only challenge was the fact that some participants had to come far, but they were attending nevertheless. Module 5 was one of modules that they liked, they identified businness opportunities within their community. Module 2 was also an interesting topic for them. Ethembeni community is still looking forward for more training like these. They said it changed their mindset and made them realised the value of money.

I trained Avocado vision financial literacy money modular in partnership with sanlam at bostich leaners and comminity members where very happy with the infomation, especially that one of UIF and pension fund. They were very interested on the calculation of Uif, they said it was a valuable information becouse they will now know how much will the payout be fort their UIF.Some didn't even know they have to claim it after end of contract. They said they are grateful to Avo and sanlam for providing them with so much information and again for free, they even ask me to bring more trainings to them and open their eyes.

Sanlam and Avocado vision entrusted me to go and money modular session, I visited Solve Park community in Namahadi, financial literacy training was complete new to them they were a bit sceptical about it and not sure to attend or not. Training was held outside on one of the rdp houses with members who were passing by they came and asked about our gathering attendance was fairly good. I train 4 money modular sessions which was an eye opener to them especially when we were talking about teaching children about money, they admitted that this they never came across a topic like this one, and they never thought about the importance of taking it upon themselves and teach their children about money, and how it could have a negative impact to the entire household finances it its neglected and pushed aside, they got to an understanding that It’s not someone else’s responsibility but their own to make sure their children know how to use money at a young age.
