RCS MFS&MM took place in worksite for the following organisation's, JAG, WPDI and Saartjie Baartmaan. For all 3 organisation's sessions went well and active participation as well as interaction. JAG organisation was trained on Module 10 (Young People and Money) and WPDI and Saartjie Baartman was trained on Money Fo Sho. They appreciated the training and they would like to have more trainings on Consumer Financial Education. Most of them knew about budgeting but the challenge was to draft it. They also learnt a lot on saving for their goals. It was a great experience to conduct a training for all 3 organisation's whom are sponsored by RCS. The highly recommended that I should come back to do more trainings.

It was a great opportunity to be part of the Sanlam project 2021 where some of the youth at Nsikazi youth development center were part. Leaders learned more about managing their money better and safety, module1 to 6 and module 9,10. It was a privilege to some of leaners according to their respond that they learn about managing money safety as they will be facing the world for money or with money. Most of leaners attended until end of training and most have little experience about their money.

Sanlam money modular sessions have a huge impact on people's lives,I had the most interesting and informative session ever at Shakaland technical College.I also learnt a lot of things When we were doing the budget, they told me that they do recieve a stipend from SeTA,so they don't want to misuse it and later regret it. We started looking at the budget and made an example of one participant, who said she has a problem of buying cosmetic bags,to a point where she has lots of them, she always regrets her purchases later. Another thing, when we got to savings and investing, they were really keen on knowing more about Sanlam products,so that they can invest for their goals.I really do hope that Sanlam calls them and explain their products,so that they are able to save or invest accordingly. The questions they asked, were very relevant and some also gave me food for thought.Scams and Fraud session was a bit emotional for some, they shared their experiences, one participant was saying that she was going to deposit money for a job offer she had received. After looking closely at the communication she had, which was via sms,we did conclude that it was a scam and she should just delete everything.

As South Africans, our experience with money is probably as diverse as our population. There are significant gaps in understanding basic financial concepts. Hollard empower people to live with confidence, go after their goals and believe they can build a better life. For example, how can you save for retirement properly, if you don’t know how much you need? Hollards programme helps with Freeing up disposable income to save and invest for short-, medium- and long-term goals. Starting small, with the creation of an emergency fund, for example, can minimise one’s risk of future debt and help lead to long-term financial freedom. We as facilitators we encourage participants to take control and personal responsibility for upskilling yourself on the basic principles of finances. This includes self-reading, research and asking questions. We hope to touch more lives with this programme but we know as well the difficulties of people committing and actually coming to this training opportunities is a struggle. But we work with those who have the boldness to attend and hope to encourage the other to take up this opportunity.

Trained umzimkhulu councilors on money modular saving and investing. It was a successful training even though they wished the training came earlier as they were about to finish their term of office. Should they not get enough votes at least they were well informed of how they can save or invest the money that will paid out to them in the form of provided fund.
