It was a priviledge to train farm dwellers community, these communities have been sidelined for a very longtime . They're now the beneficiaries of this farm they use to work in , skills development and financial literacy trainings will make a difference in how they change and handle their finances . I had more than 66 participants and no one wished to go back home because they all valued their first time financial literacy training.
Enthusiasm, willingness was encouraging. In each module they connected their current situation and willing to do everything they've learned to change for the better. It was encouraging to see employers from other farms transporting their employees to the training venue , this contributed on how valuable is the training.
For this community this training was the start of many opportunities to come for them .Participation was 100% and made me feel encouraged to continue with this training .
Thank you to Sanlam and Avocado Vision hoping this community will receive many more trainings in future.
