For this project I was intentional of who I wanted to train simply because this came around the time of Youth Month therefore I was able to maximise on my recruitment using links that I had created previously. I found that one of the most impactful MM's is the Young People and Money Modular, even with the groups that i was not doing this particular Modular with I had to spare atleast 30 minutes to touch on it. It is surprising that in 2022 we have young people that are not aware of how NSFAS works, they are accepted in Higher Learning Institutions but never make it there because they are of the view that they do not have Registration Fees that is paid upfront. This enlightened them in that aspect that they only need to worry about transporting themselves to their preferred institutions. In some cases I feel that even the Teachers are failing them by not providing them with information as well as exposing them to the Road Shows that are hosted by both Tertiary Institutions and Municipalities.
