This was an interesting Green Business Mentorship session where the upcoming charcoal producers were picked their minds on charcoal production equipment just to find out if they're aware of what is expected and to find out if they've been working on preparations before they start, I then took the producers to imaginery charcoal production site set up for example the terrain , site assessment , kiln arrangement , biomass assessment and arrangement . The existing charcoal producers shared their struggles and successes with other producers . Participants seeme to be more interested on profit without actually looking at expenses you encure during production which I shared some with them .Most interesting was the fact that most of the producers have the clearing agreements .

Hollard training was a success , it was fulfilling for me to get a chance to be part of youth empowerment for the new employed youth under Lima , this youth is excited that for the first time in their lives they'll get a wages so Hollard financial literacy came right in time , it was the first time that I get challenged on banking , the participants were strongly opposing the banking as they said the valued way of keeping your money is keeping it at home as you don't pay extra charges and there was a debate on the banking module and needs & wants but finally we all agreed that banking is a good choice if you know all the details and services offered by the bank. On budgeting module I was suprised by most participants who were not comfortable on talking about their finances as they were taught at home that finances are a secret but after explaining to them that no one will share their budgets and it won't be a group activity everybody was comfortable but at the end of the day budgeting module was the most praised and loved module .

Sanlam Training went extremely well, as most of the participants were struggling to keep up to their Budget, having complication checking their credit profile, What kind of Insurance do they need and even how their beliefs and culture affects their finances. We had a great even other teams are interested in attending the Modules before the Festive Season.

On the 18th to the 21st of October I trained the employees of Tenneco employees on Sanlam money fo sho. The training was very successful and the employees shared their own experiences making the training interesting as all of us could benefit from those experiences. They so wished that the training had come earlier because they wpuld not have committed some of the mistakes. An old man also shared his experience regarding a will and also as he was sharing advised others not to fall into the same trap. They further appreciated Sanlam for showing care by bringing them the training as from then on they will make better financial decisions and plan better for their futures and retirement, because many were still only depending on the Provident fund only as a source of income when attaining retirement age.

It’s knowledge people in the work place need to reduce financial stress and financial wellness programs can help them improve it. Over 40 percent of employees are too worried about their financial situation today to think about the future. This Financial literacy opportunities offered by Sanlam through Avocado vision are the right tools to combat and help overwhelmed employees to deal with their financial situation. In this case Debt Management.

In the month of August I've been training Imvelo Yethu in remote schools of Mount Frere where the nature is amazing but is in a bad state because of negligence caused by the communities because of lack of knowledge on how precious are the natural resources and that they can live a better life if they can start recognizing themselves as part of the Ecosystem . In all the schools the students have shown an interest and at the end of each training they took a decision of making a change which some of the schools have already taken an action towards their decisions Some have met with their Chiefs and Headman to express how they feel about watching elderly people destroying the nature and have urged them to work with them to save Mother Earth .In some schools the Headmen did attend the trainings and they were part of decision making and they've identified their points of departure in changing the situation. With all the schools I've trained we've decided to have an INDZALO YAMABHACA competition meaning the Nature for Amabhaca Tribe which will be our biggest environmental awareness campaign on different topics in the Imvelo Yethu facilitator's guide , we've not yet set the date as we're still seeking the donations for prizes , we also hope this will continue in the next years to come .We will host our UMFULONGATSHI WATER WEEK meaning the rivers will never dry up again where we will be cleaning the streams and testing water and we've invited the Umzimvubu municipality Mayor , all councillors and DEF as we hope to work with them in future as we start this journey to save INDZALO YAMABHACA ( Amabhaca Nature ). This training had a huge impact on the communities and students and we hope to see the change in the future which we will be proud of .
